  • Search Engines — Here you can find an evaluation of the search resources I used, including web search, blog search, news search, image search, and video search. These tools are good starting blocks with which you can begin more powerful research.
  • Websites — There are a few websites that you must frequent. I have listed them here, and included an evaluation of each so you can prioritize the time you spend using them.
  • Web Directories — Web directories provide you with pre-categorized information, and can point you in the right direction with suggested searches and similar topics. Web directories are great starting points for research.
  • RSS Feed Sites (Blogroll) — This takes you to my blogroll where you can see an evaluation of all my feeds at the top of the page.
  • Deep Web — The internet is extremely large, and growing everyday. These tools allow you to find information on the lesser-known parts of the web.
  • Email Alerts — Email alerts take a little work to set up, but after that you can sit back and have everything delivered right to your inbox.
  • Page Monitors — Page monitors allow you to keep track of pages without an RSS feed.
  • Tag-Based Sites — Tag-based sites allow you to search for and view pages and sites that other people have tagged as useful for your topic.
  • Real Time Information — Real time information is somewhat new, and can be very helpful. Here you can find some of the most useful tools pertaining to your industry.
  • Google Custom Search Engine — This takes you to my GCSE page where you can see an evaluation of the tool, and a list of the sites I included in the engine, at the top of the page.
